🇺🇸 REMEMBERING SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 🇺🇸

Tomorrow, we pause as a community to remember the lives lost and the heroes who answered the call on September 11, 2001.

As a small-town volunteer fire department, we especially remember the firefighters, first responders, law enforcement officers, and ordinary citizens who showed extraordinary courage and selflessness that day.

The fire alarm will sound at 8:59 AM tomorrow in honor of those lost. Please take a moment to pause, reflect, and remember.

WE WILL NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸

My response to fireworks in July:

250 Years of Freedom: Celebrate Safely
As we mark 250 years of our country’s founding ideals of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, we honor the patriots who secured these freedoms for the greatest nation on earth. “Only a virtuous people are capable of freedom.” – Benjamin Franklin.

Freedom embodies virtues like honesty, courage, justice, moderation, discretion, and wisdom through personal restraint and responsibility.

The Sheriff’s Department and Arthur Fire and Rescue welcome you to safely enjoy your fireworks after the park celebrations at the McNertney Arena.
With severe drought conditions, please celebrate carefully—fires spread quickly.

Make this a joyful, safe celebration for all families, including ours.

Backing up our neighbors is always a privilege. Very thankful they feel comfortable enough with our abilities and professionalism to allow us to do so. We are blessed to have these solid relationships.

It is very dry despite the spotty moisture acquired over the past couple of weeks. Be careful while traversing pastures and grasses, watchful for any equipment that may spark or be hot enough to combust the dry fuels in your midst. As always, serving our community and neighbors is what we do. And we love what we do.
