✨ At Mothers’ Milk Bank, we’re all about providing the best start in life for babies in need, and we couldn't do it without the incredible generosity of our milk donors! If you have more milk than your little one needs, consider becoming a milk donor. Here's how it works:

1️⃣ Provide medical history and give consent - This helps us ensure the safety and health of our precious milk recipients.
2️⃣ Complete a blood test - A quick and simple step to confirm your eligibility.
3️⃣ Send your excess milk to Mothers’ Milk Bank - Once you’re approved, you can start sending your milk, and we'll handle the rest!

Every ounce of donor milk helps nourish and save the lives of vulnerable infants. Want to learn more about becoming a milk donor? Visit: milkbankcolorado.org 💖✨

Today is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.

We remember the babies gone too soon and honor the families who carry their memories in their hearts. Pregnancy and infant loss is a deeply personal experience, and every family’s grief is different. We recognize the parents, siblings, and loved ones who continue to hold space for the little lives that will always be part of their stories.

We also want to recognize the bereaved parents who make the selfless choice to become milk donors. Many choose to donate their milk as a way to honor their baby’s life and create a lasting legacy of love. Their decision to donate helps provide lifesaving donor milk to fragile infants, bringing hope to other families during difficult times.

At Mothers’ Milk Bank, we stand with grieving families and hold deep respect for the love behind every donation. We are honored to help these parents carry forward their babies’ legacies in such a meaningful way.

Today and always, we honor these precious lives and the families who will never forget them. 💙

💗 Today is Breast Cancer Awareness Day, a reminder of the importance of breast health, early detection, and supporting those affected by breast cancer.

At Mothers’ Milk Bank, we stand alongside everyone affected by breast cancer and encourage our community to stay informed, prioritize their health, and support those navigating a diagnosis.

💗 Together, we can help raise awareness and remind families that they are not alone.

For medically fragile infants, early feeding can be complex. In some cases, maternal milk may not be immediately available or sufficient in volume.

In these situations, pasteurized donor human milk (PDHM) can serve as an essential bridge in neonatal care, helping ensure infants continue to receive optimal nutrition during this
critical period.

PDHM is carefully screened and processed to provide a safe source of human milk when it is needed most in the NICU setting.

Beyond nutrition, PDHM can also provide added support for families navigating a vulnerable and uncertain beginning, when care decisions are unfolding quickly and the focus is on the health and stability of their infant. ❤️👶

October is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, a time to honor the little ones gone too soon and offer comfort to families navigating the painful journey of loss.

The loss of a baby is a heartbreak no parent should ever have to endure. Yet, far too many families face the unimaginable journey of grieving the loss of their child.

Through Rowan’s Fund at Rocky Mountain Children’s Health Foundation, we stand alongside families experiencing loss and offer comfort and resources to grieving families, equip care teams with tools to continue their work while navigating their own emotions, and create lasting spaces to honor and remember the children who are gone—but never forgotten.
