The big day is almost here! Make sure your kiddo is ready to run, walk, jog, skip, dance, or however they choose to make those laps count! 💙

✅ Jog-A-Thon Checklist:
👟 Sneakers/tennis shoes
👕 Comfy clothes
💧 Water bottle with their name on it
🎯 Personal goal for number of laps

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ We’re getting ready for the Jog-a-Thon this Friday! 🎉

Whether you run fast, slow, forward, backward 😂, walk, skip, or dance your way around the course — it doesn’t matter HOW you move, as long as you’re having FUN! 💜

📣 Parents: Just a reminder that students will participate in the Jog-a-Thon during their regularly scheduled Specials time.

This is our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year, and we can’t wait to see our school community out there cheering, running, and having a blast together! 🎉🏃‍♀️

🚨 WE NEED YOUR HELP, VAN ARSDALE! 🚨

Our PTSA events are only possible because of the amazing parents, families, and community members who volunteer their time. Right now, we are seriously short on volunteers and event chairs, and we need your help to keep these events happening.

🎃 Our most urgent need right now is a Trunk or Treat Chair! 🎃

We also need volunteers and chairs for upcoming PTSA events throughout the school year. And unfortunately, if we don’t have enough people step up, we may have to cancel some of the events our students look forward to.

You don’t have to commit to everything! Even a few hours, helping with setup/cleanup, or taking the lead on one event can make a HUGE difference.

If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to help, but I don’t have much time,” we’d still love to have you! 🙌

🎬 Sept 11 – Back to School Bash: Outdoor Movie Night
Join us for Bliss ice cream, yard games, and a screening of GOAT! A perfect way to kick off the school year together.

📚 Sept 16 – The Classroom Blueprint: Curriculum Night (5:30–7:30 PM)
Get into the classroom and meet your child's teacher! See what they'll be learning this year and how their school day is structured. Learn about after school enrichment programs. Childcare provided by RV NHS, so bring the whole family.

🤝 Sept 23 – PTSA Meet & Greet (Colorado Tap House, 6:00 PM)
Come connect with other Mountaineer parents over drinks and conversation.
