Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of legendary R&B singer Freddie Jackson.

​A monumental musical talent whose soulful voice defined an era, Freddie graced Asbury Park with his unforgettable artistry when he joined us as our featured performer at the 2011 Asbury Park Mayor's Ball.

His warmth, grace, and incredible performance that evening created memories our community will always treasure.

​Our hearts and sincere condolences go out to his family, friends, loved ones, and countless fans around the world. Rest in peace, Freddie—your music and spirit will forever resonate in Asbury Park. 🕊️🎶
