Why do clothes matter to people facing homelessness?
Research shows that children with appropriate clothing are more likely to attend school regularly and engage actively in their education. 👚
Proper attire helps them blend in with their peers, reducing the stigma and bullying often associated with homelessness. Moreover, it significantly boosts their self-esteem and overall mental health. 👖
When children have the clothing they need, the benefits extend beyond the individual. Classrooms become more inclusive environments where all students can focus on learning rather than differences in appearance. 👕
Teachers report fewer behavioral issues and distractions, creating a better learning environment for everyone. 👔
