The VSTC Library will be temporarily closed due to carpet cleaning, Friday, July 19th at 6:00pm - Saturday, July 20 at 6:00am.

We ask that students relocate to other study areas in Enterprise Hall after 6pm to allow cleaning staff to complete work and allow the carpet to dry fully overnight.

Alternate seating on our floor: 102, 170, 178, 179, 100G, the lobby seating area at the north entrance, public seating between classrooms 175 and 176, and more. SON students may also use their Innovation Hall student lounge and study areas for the evening.

GWorld cardholders may access the VSTC Library on the Juneteenth university holiday to pick up books on hold and study independently.

Our e-resources are available 24/7 at library.gwu.edu (or himmelfarb.gwu.edu for SON and pre-med students).

You may donate your used paperboard eclipse glasses to the VSTC Library (give them to our staff member or look for the donation box on the table next to the printer/scanner kiosk).

Our staff will make sure they get to a vetted organization that will distribute them at upcoming events around the world.

The IEEE/IEE Electronic Library database will be down for planned maintenance on Sat., March 16, 2024 from approximately 9am-2pm. If you experience an outage with this database during this time, simply try again later.

Yes, we are open and staffed today (1/19). Please use caution and slow down if driving to VSTC. Rt 28 is drivable though slushy; exit ramps and side streets continue to be problematic, particularly for smaller vehicles.
