Author, Sue Fliess will be visiting Sanders Corner Elementary on Tuesday, December 3rd. Sue has written over 50 books and has won many prestigious book awards. If you would like to order one of her books to be autographed, please complete this form by Tuesday, November 19, 2024.

Sanders Corner is excited to be creating a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts & Mathematics) Closet for the 24-25 school year. The resources in this closet will be utilized by the entire school and free up classroom storage space for individual teachers. The Sanders Corner Elementary School PTA has supported this project by purchasing organizational supplies and containers, but now we need your help filling them. If you have any of the items listed lying around your house collecting dust, we would love to have them (all items should be clean, dry, and free of food). Feel free to send them in with your student or drop it on the cart by the front office labeled “STEAM CLOSET”. We also have an Amazon Wishlist (https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/11A8NW408U8PG?ref_=wl_share) set up if you would like to purchase items from and they will get mailed directly to the school. Congratulations to Sanders Corner Elementary School for winning Ashburn Library's Summer Reading Program 2024 championship trophy. As this is their sixth win in a row a big shout out goes to all the families, teachers, librarians, PTA, and more who support the Sanders Corner students as they read their way to victory. Go Dolphins!
