The Kiwanis Club of Asheboro was recognized on October 20th for their contribution to sponsor the 4-H Classroom at the Randolph County, NC Agricultural Center. The club members held their meeting at the facility and were able to see firsthand the sponsored room and sign signifying their sponsorship.
The Randolph County Agricultural Center, a central hub for agricultural events, education, and community gatherings, had long been a vision of the local farming and livestock community. The center has hosted numerous events throughout the year since opening in November 2025, from livestock shows to educational workshops, serving as a vital resource for Randolph County and its surrounding areas. Sponsorship opportunities are still available for interested businesses or corporations.
Kiwanis Club of Asheboro supports various youth initiatives throughout the community; therefore, being the sponsor of the Randolph County 4-H Classroom was a strong partnership for the club. Club President Nolan Coley commented, “It is our honor to be the sponsor of the 4-H Classroom here at the Randolph County Agricultural Center. This facility is a pillar in our community, and to be able to be a part of it brings us joy, as this touches many young people, plus teaches the importance of agriculture, which is ingrained in our area.”
The civic club meets the first and third Tuesday at 6pm at CJ’s Olde Towne Restaurant in Asheboro and welcomes anyone looking to make a positive difference. For more information about the club and initiatives, check them out at https://www.facebook.com/asheborokiwanis.
