There are 23 new bestsellers, three new movies, nine new audiobooks, 38 new children's books, and 85 other new books, including 21 that are available online.

The new bestsellers this week include "Partita," "Partita," and "Other Worlds Than These." The new movies this week are "Moana," "Jackass: Best and Last," and "Blades of the Guardians: Wind Rises in the Desert [Blu-ray]."

🖌️Here are some of the beautiful Sumi-e paintings our young artists put together during our Art Around the World Program. Using black ink, they drew out animals and landscapes with a special brush. If you would like to try brush painting for yourself, the Asheboro Library has a few books available for check-out!🐼

📖Here are some of the amazing displays we had at the Randolph Room open house on Tuesday. It was a great chance to explore history and discover new information about our home county. We are so lucky to have such an in-depth collection here at the !

As we celebrate Family History and Archives Month, come explore ‘behind the scenes’ documents and learn about storing your own family’s history. You can browse through books, scavenger hunts, and historical photographs. There is even a brand new 3D map of Randolph County to investigate. We cant wait to see you there!🧳

🚒Big thanks to the Asheboro Fire Department for visiting us for a special Storytime today. We got to explore the fire truck and learn from real firefighters. Children had fun giving high-fives and learning that firefighting gear isn’t so scary after all!🪓
