It was such a joy to welcome Chief Stepp and her family to Western Carolina Rescue Ministries today! It was wonderful to see her boys jump in and help serve meals to our residents and neighbors experiencing homelessness. We were also grateful to have Charles and his son serve today!

There is something special about seeing the next generation learn the importance of giving back, serving others, and showing compassion to those in need. These moments remind us that making a difference starts with a willing heart and a desire to love our neighbors well.

Thank you to all our volunteers who give their time and hearts to serve our community. Together, we are sharing hope, showing love, and changing lives! ❤️

🧥 COATS FOR THE COLD — WE NEED YOUR HELP! ❄️

As temperatures begin to drop, many of our neighbors are facing the cold without the warm clothing they need. ❤️ You can help make a difference!

Western Carolina Rescue Ministries is collecting coats and winter weather essentials to share with those in need at our upcoming Coats for the Cold event on Saturday, November 1st, as well as through our clothing closet, which is open on Tuesdays and Fridays.

🧤 Items needed include:
- Warm coats and jackets
- Hats, gloves, and scarves
- Sweatshirts and hoodies
- Warm socks
- Other winter weather essentials

Every donation helps provide warmth, comfort, and hope to someone in our community who needs it.

❤️ THANK YOU for an incredible 24 hours of Conversations on a Bench! ❤️

What an amazing 24 hours filled with meaningful conversations, powerful testimonies, hope, and redemption! 🙌

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to our Executive Director, Micheal Woods, for leading this important conversation; to our dedicated staff who helped make this event possible; and to everyone who took a seat on the bench and shared their time, experiences, and perspectives.

A special thank you to our program participants who courageously shared their stories of hope, healing, and redemption. Your willingness to be vulnerable reminds us all that no matter where someone has been, there is always hope for a new beginning through the love of Christ. ❤️
