Good evening CC Bell Families,

I hope that everyone has been safe throughout the weekend.

Information from the Central Office:
As you know, video cameras are used in common areas throughout our school to help support the safety and security of our students and staff. On October 1, 2026, the Board of Education adopted Policy 7325, "Video and Audio Recording by Employees," to formally establish guidelines for these systems. The policy does not change how our cameras are used, rather it provides a clear framework for their continued use. We appreciate your partnership in maintaining a safe and secure learning environment for all.

Information from our school counselor, Mrs. Amanda Herbert:
We would like to send a reminder that the personal safety lessons delivered by Mountain Child Advocacy Center will occur during the week of October 19th. You should have recently received a letter containing more information about their visit. If you would like more information about the content of their program, please feel free to reach out to our school counselor, Amanda Herbert , or to the personal safety educators directly using the contact details that were provided in their letter. If you would prefer that your child does not participate in the lessons, please sign the opt-out portion of the letter and return it to school or contact Mr. Fusco [email protected].

It is our school district tradition to support Eblen Charities each October which add fall color to our hallways through the purchase $1/paper pumpkins and Friday spirit days to our October all the while supporting a community non-profit organization that helps many families across Buncombe County.
For Friday, 10/16: Team Spirit Day - Reynolds High School, Bell, community league, college, or NFL team spirit day
ACRHS Principal Alexander has invited the Reynolds District Schools to participate in the Homecoming Spirit by wearing Green/Gold colors on Friday, 10/16.

Attached is information about our annual PTO Fall Dance, and for this year coined the “Glow Dance” with this school year planned for Friday night, October 23rd from 6-8PM. This event is a school tradition, a great opportunity for parents/guardians to get to know one another as the students enjoy supervised social time together. Please see the attached flyer for more information.

Also attached October Newsletter from our PTO for upcoming planned events.

Many parents/guardians have asked about ways to support our school and we are thankful. We maintain an Amazon Wishlist with specific items that our school teachers and staff have requested. We are greatly appreciative of the support of providing instructional resources for our school.

10/4/26

Good evening CC Bell Families,

Welcome Fall!

Monday, October 5th and Tuesday, October 6th are fall break days meaning optional teacher workdays for teachers and no school for students. I hope that the fall break provides staff and students time for practicing Leader in Me Habit #7 “Sharpen the Saw” in engaging in family and/or interest activities. A good schoolwork/life balance is important practice indeed.

It is our school district tradition to support Eblen Charities each October which add fall color to our hallways through the purchase $1/paper pumpkins and Friday spirit days to our October all the while supporting a community non-profit organization that helps many families across Buncombe County.
