Ashford Elementary School PTO Officers are nominated and then elected by AES faculty and attending parents during the first meeting on the school year.

AES aims to promote and encourage communication among parents, teachers, administrators and the community, with the goal of enhancing community spirit and the students' educational experiences. We hold open meetings four times during the school year, on the first Tuesday following Progress Reports release. Dates and times are listed on this page and are updated every school year. Meeting dates and times are also available through the Ashford Elementary School Code of Conduct, the AES school web site and through school backpack flyers. Parents and/or Teachers should contact the PTO with questions about any PTO programs currently in place, as well as any ideas for new programs that would enrich our school community or provide financial support for school programs. Our organization is open for suggestions, ideas and greatly appreciates and encourages parent involvement.

Today we celebrated International Dot Day! We read 'The Dot' by Peter H. Reynolds. Students participated in dot graphing and were encouraged to use their creativity as they created their own dot. Remember to get out there and make your mark! ⚫️🐝

🇺🇸 Our character education word this week was PATRIOTISM, and ending our week on September 11th had us reflecting on the meaning of courage, sacrifice, service, and unity.

We remember those we lost, honor those who served, and are thankful for the brave men and women who continue to protect our country and communities each day. ❤️🤍💙
