Ashland City Fire Department is suspending burn permits within our fire district - until further notice. As you can see from the graphic below we are in an "Extreme Drought" designated area which is the reason for currently not issuing burn permits.
We will make a post again once we begin issuing permits.

Requesting Volunteer Help: We have a bedridden veteran in the Pegram area who is need of some roofing assistance. There are approximately 5 shingles that need to be replaced on the home. If you are interested in assisting please reach out to us at (615)456-4419.

Tennesseans impacted by Winter Storm Fern have one week left to apply for FEMA or SBA disaster assistance.

The deadline is June 10, 2026. FEMA assistance is available for homeowners, renters, and students in approved counties. Support may include:
• Temporary housing
• Home repairs
• Personal property losses
• Medical, dental, transportation, funeral needs
The SBA also offers low‑interest disaster loans to renters and homeowners.
