A sample ballot set only shows the federal candidates.
Please vote November 3rd, or if possible, vote absentee when the weather is nice, so you won't have to stand in a long line, so they won't be able to tell you they ran out of ballots, so you can shorten the line for others.
๐Ÿ’ซPLEASE Encourage your friends and family to vote absentee. Make an appointment to be out of town on election day, 11/3 so that you qualify to vote absentee because you honestly will be out of town. Also, voters over sixty five years of age are permitted to vote absentee.

Vote absentee NOW so that any voting problems you might encounter on 11/3/26 election day, LIKE THEY RUN OUT OF BALLOTS or, your voting status has been changed to inactive can be resolved by the deputy clerk.
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘‰ Six weeks of began Monday, September 21st, M-F, 8am-5pm, and these two Saturdays 10/24, & 10/31, 8:00am-noon at the Circuit Clerkโ€™s Office, in every County in Mississippi.
The last day for in-person absentee voting is Saturday, October 31st, 2026, 8am-noon.
Qualified voters should when the weather is nice, to shorten the line on election day, to make sure their ballot is counted because they receive a ballot and most importantly ... to support their candidates with their vote.

In 2026 our Mississippi Legislature changed absentee voting so that now your finished absentee ballot is secured in a voting machine, just like election day, NOT into an envelope to be opened after 7pm on election day.

Former President Barack Obama says itโ€™s time for a change in Mississippi.
Vote for
By contrast Cindy Hyde-Smith has been endorsed by convicted felon Trump.
ELECTION DAY IS TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 3RD, 7AM-7PM.
Will you vote on 11/3 if it's raining, if they run out of ballots, if there's a long line??
๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘‰WE URGE YOU TO ๐Ÿ’ซVOTE ABSENTEE๐Ÿ’ซ, BUT YOU NEED AN EXCUSE.
In 2026 the MS Legislature passed a new law, In Person Absentee Ballots are no longer put into envelopes and opened after 7pm on election day. Instead, an absentee ballot is now placed by the
voter directly into a voting machine, just like on election day. However, not all registered voters โ€œqualified electorsโ€ are โ€œallowedโ€ to vote absentee. Qualified Voters must have an acceptable
excuse (see below). MSโ€™s 6 weeks of absentee voting began at all 82 County Circuit Clerkโ€™s offices on Monday, September 21st and end on Saturday, October 31st. Monday-Friday, 8am
5pm and these 3 Saturdays: October 3rd, Oct. 24th & Oct. 31st, 8am-noon. Election day is Tuesday, November 3rd, the last day to register to vote is Monday, October 5th.
โ€ข Absentee Voters need ONE of these excuses to complete the absentee ballot application at all 82 Mississippi County Circuit Clerks offices: Any person who is 65 years or older. Any qualified
elector who is away from his or her residence within the county on election day for any reason.
* Any qualified elector who will be unable to vote in person because they are required to be at work or on call on election day. * The parent, spouse or dependent of a person with a temporary or permanent physical disability who is hospitalized outside of his or her residence.
* Any qualified elector who is a bona fide student, teacher or administrator at any college, university, junior college, high, junior high, or elementary grade school whose studies or employment at such institution necessitates his or her absence from the municipality of his or her voting residence on the date of any primary, general or special election, or the spouse and dependents of that student, teacher or administrator if such spouse or dependent(s) maintain a common domicile, outside of the county of his or her voting residence, with such student, teacher or administrator.
* Any person who has a temporary or permanent physical disability and who, because of such disability, is unable to vote in person without substantial hardship to himself, herself or others, or whose attendance at the voting place could reasonably cause danger to himself, herself or others.
โ€ข In 2025 the MS Legislature passed an Anti DEI law. Currently contested in Federal Court, if enforced
this new law prohibits Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) programs and practices in public K-12
schools and post-secondary institutions. Why did they pass this law?
โ€ข In 2026, MS Secretary of State (SOS) paid a global data & technology company, Experian, $50,000 to run nearly 2 million checks of Experianโ€™s unverified commercial data on Mississippiโ€™s registered voters. DeSoto County began 2026 with 132,000 active registered voters, we now have 115,000. 17,000
DeSoto County registered voters had their voting status changed to INACTIVE. The SOS does not share a voterโ€™s active nor inactive voting status on their website. https://tinyurl.com/bp9t4ad3 The SOS only shares if they are a registered voter. On election day, only ACTIVE registered voters are in the poll books, so an inactive voter needs to know to request an affidavit ballot if they are told they are not registered to vote. The information provided on the affidavit form will be used to change the voters status to active. https://mississippitoday.org/2026/03/09/credit-data-checked-voters-addresses/
โ€ข In 2026 the MS Leg. passed The Shield Act: New possible required documentation could create barriers for eligible voters, especially those without easy access to birth records, naturalized citizens, or
those with incomplete records e.g., older adults, rural residents, low-income individuals. These new requirements shift the burden of proof to the voter, potentially causing temporary disenfranchisement if they do not respond promptly.
โ€ข REDISTRICTING- our Mississippi Legislature is currently considering changing Congressional, MS House, MS Senate and Supreme Court political boundaries. No special session date has been set to vote on redrawn maps, though public hearings are underway and one was held in Southaven. What is the purpose of changing political boundaries to โ€œrace neutralโ€??? โ€œIn Mississippi, white voters will rarely vote for a Black candidate, while Black voters will often vote for white candidates.โ€ Derrick Johnson President of the National NAACP.

โ€œโ€˜All that is required for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing.โ€™โ€

Trump lashed out at the media Thursday over its coverage on his comments in Nebraska suggesting Iran could โ€œtake outโ€ Los Angeles and San Diego.
Dude needs to be impeached.

I just spoke with the Deputy Circuit Clerk clerk of DeSoto county. Our 2026 voting roll numbers dropped from 132,000 to 117,000.
Earlier this year, was contracted by the state of Mississippi to investigate voters Names.. ( Mississippi SOS paid Experian $50k for voters' consumer data https://share.google/polwAObUJrZCe2VlA ). As a result of Experian's report, ๐Ÿ˜ต๐Ÿ˜ต15,000 DeSoto County voters had their voting status changed to INACTIVE.

How many in Benton County were "Experianed" ? Why is a credit company allowed to have access to our voter rolls?

Also earlier this year, our Desoto County Clerk's office mailed these 15,000 no longer active voters a letter to let them know their voting status has been changed to inactive, but few responded.
On 11/3/26, election day, inactive voters will be told that their name is not on the voting rolls, and they cannot vote. The voter needs to request an affidavit ballot so they can vote.
The poll worker will not be able to see why their name is NOT on the voting rolls, Nor which precinct, they need to go to so that their affidavit ballot is counted.

The affidavit ballot will only be counted if it has been cast at the correct voting precinct and the affidavit ballot information will update their voting status to active for the 2027 elections.

What can we do? CHECK YOUR VOTING STATUS by calling your County Clerk.

There are websites that seemed to all be tied into the Mississippi Secretary of State's (false) voting status information but the Secretary of State's website will only tell you if you are registered to vote.
Not what your voting ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿ‘‰ status is.

If your name has been purged from the voting rolls, you are no longer registered to vote. But if your name has been changed from active to inactive, you are still registered to vote. So, IN MY OPINION, the SOS website is deliberately vague when it attacked thousands and thousands of voters and hid their changed voting status by only telling them if they are or are not registeredto vote.

The secretary of state said the deal would "strengthen" election integrity. But Experian told his office it couldn't guarantee its data's reliability.
