October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month — an opportunity to learn, listen, and better understand the experiences of people impacted by domestic violence.

Domestic violence can take many forms and isn’t always easy to recognize. Join us for a conversation with The Second Step focused on understanding how abuse can show up, recognizing the signs, and learning how to start a conversation with care and respect.

The Second Step will guide the conversation and share practical tools for recognizing signs of abuse and approaching conversations thoughtfully.

Join Us for an In-Person Community Training

Parents and caregivers are invited to join us for an informative Domestic Violence Awareness Training on October 7th from 5:00–6:30 PM at the Ashland Community Center.

This in-person training will provide an opportunity to learn more about domestic violence, recognize signs of unhealthy or concerning relationships, and learn about resources and support available in our community.
