⚠️ WILDLIFE ALERT: Keep out of Difficult Campground ⚠️

Heads up! Moose have been spotted at Difficult Campground and have shown some aggressive behavior, especially around loose dogs. There is a cow with a calf and a young bull that may be injured.

You should always keep your dogs on a leash in moose country. The Aspen-Sopris Ranger District is encouraging people to stay out of the area for the next week to give the animals time to move on.

Let's work together to keep our community and our wildlife safe!

Thank you for your cooperation.
