Join us for Tom Karrel’s LARC author talk, Ethical Wills, a trip to Two Roots Farm, and plenty of Mahjong, AI Workshop, fitness classes and good food along the way.

Then Friday rolls in with Fall Fest, live music by A.O. Forbes, and Cooking with Cam featuring kimchi. Not a quiet finish to the week, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

Check out the full schedule below. Programs marked with an asterisk require an RSVP. For details or to sign up, call 970-920-5432.

Living with Parkinson’s, or caring for someone who is? There are local groups here in the Roaring Fork Valley ready to welcome you.

The Parkinson Association of the Rockies offers several local groups, and we wanted to help spread the word. There are groups for people living with Parkinson’s, care partners, and loved ones, along with separate groups specifically for people with Parkinson’s and for care partners.

Meetings are held throughout the valley in Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, and New Castle, giving people several options for finding a group that works for them.

Sometimes simply being in a room with people who understand what you’re navigating can make a big difference. Whether you’re looking for information, conversation, support, or connection, these groups are a wonderful local resource.

Take a look at the flyer for meeting dates, times, and locations, and please share it with someone who might find it helpful.

For more information, contact Phyllis Leverich at (720) 328-9917 or [email protected].

Mahjong & Muffins is one of our most popular programs. The room is full, the tiles are clicking, and there’s plenty of laughter coming from the tables.

Never played? Come anyway! We have fantastic instructors who will get you started. Already know your way around the tiles? Grab a seat and jump in.

We especially love that this has become such a fun intergenerational group, with players of different ages and skill levels all mixed together.

Wednesdays from 10 AM to 12 PM. No experience needed. No cost. Just show up, grab a muffin, and find a seat at the table!

There is A LOT happening around here this week, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!

We’re heading to Rock Bottom Ranch, spending a day in Redstone with Sheehan Meagher learning about pollinator gardens, breaking out the tiles for Mahjong & Muffins, getting creative with Active Art, slowing things down with Sound Healing, and wrapping up the week with our CSA Farmer’s Market and Bridge.

And that’s just scratching the surface.

Of course, there’s also Canasta, Book Club, poetry, Qigong, Balance, Yoga and plenty of good food coming out of the kitchen all week long.

Basically, the hardest part may be deciding what NOT to do.
