FCS TEACHERS - anyone in need of an industrial sewing machine? it is a Sailrite Standard Fabricator Sewing Machine (110V)
The Sailrite Standard Fabricator Sewing Machine is a full-size industrial, straight-stitch sewing machine with a compound walking foot. It allows for slow, controlled sewing at full power. There is Posi-Pin Safety Shear (Patent #7438009) protects your machine from damage. Additionally, the Posi-Pin lets you disengage the balance wheel when winding bobbins, reducing wear and tear on the machine's internal components.
The Standard Fabricator has a double-laminated tabletop made from 1-1/2-inch-thick, sturdy plywood. The top and bottom are laminated with melamine, which increases the tabletop's strength and prevents it from bowing long-term from the machine's weight. It weighs 130 pounds.
