We’re getting excited for another SPOOKTACULAR night at the Athens County Fairgrounds! 🧡

Join us Thursday, October 22nd from 6:00–7:30 PM for our annual Trunk or Treat! 🍬🍭

We’re throwing it back with some pictures from last year’s event! 📸 We had such a great turnout and we’re looking forward to seeing even more of you this year! 🎃

Bring the kids, dress them up in their favorite costumes, and come enjoy a fun night of trick-or-treating at the fairgrounds! 👻🍫

The Athens County Fair is looking for an Administration Assistant to help with the organization, planning, promotion, marketing, scheduling, and day-to-day operations of the fair and fairgrounds.

📋 Experience in accounting/bookkeeping, marketing, event planning, or project management preferred.

🚜 Antique Machinery Show This Weekend! 🚜

The Athens County Antique Machinery Club is hosting their Antique Machinery Show this weekend, October 3rd & 4th, at the Athens County Fairgrounds! Come check out antique tractors, steam engines, old farm and oil field machinery, food, crafts, and more!

Admission is $5 per day. We hope to see you there!

🎃👻 TRUNK OR TREAT AT THE ATHENS COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS! 👻🎃

We’re getting ready for a fun night of Trunk or Treat on October 22nd from 6–7:30 PM at the Athens County Fairgrounds! 🍬🍭

We’re looking for local businesses, organizations, families, and individuals who would like to join us by decorating a trunk and handing out candy to the kids! There will also be prizes for Cutest, Funniest & Scariest trunks. 🏆🎃

🐮 OPEN BEEF SHOW WEEKEND! 🐮

Get ready for a full weekend of Southern Ohio Showdown Series action at the Athens County Fairgrounds!

Join us Saturday, September 19th for the Athens County Open Beef Show, and stick around after the show for lots of fun on the grounds, including a Fitting Contest, Co****le Tournament, Kickball, and Dinner on the Grounds! 🎉

Then stay Sunday for the Meigs County Open Show, hosted right here at our fairgrounds!

Two shows, one great weekend! 🤠🐄 We can’t wait to see everyone! ❤️

📣 Jr. Fair Livestock Sale Check Pick-Up

The Buyer’s List is now available for exhibitors to write their Thank You cards! 💌

Please remember that you must write a Thank You to the buyer(s) AND everyone listed under the exhibitor’s name. Every buyer deserves a thank you for supporting our 4-H & FFA youth!

💰 Jr. Fair Livestock Sale Check Pick-Up
📅 September 10th | 6:00–7:30 PM

Please bring your addressed and stamped Thank You cards with you when you pick up your check.

If a parent or someone else will be picking up your check for you, you must have a signed permission note giving them permission to do so.

🍪 Bake Sale Thank You!
A HUGE thank you to everyone who purchased baked goods at this year’s bake sale! Your support helped raise an incredible $15,000, allowing us to give every 4-H & FFA member an additional $30 added to their premiums! ❤️

Bake sale checks will also be available for pick-up tomorrow, September 10th. If you are unable to pick up your check and someone else will be picking it up for you, you will still need to provide a signed permission note.

Grab the family and come on out for an evening packed with great flat track motorcycle racing, fireworks, and live music! 🏍️💨🎆🎶

Watch the racers battle it out under the lights, then stick around for fireworks and the Keith McGrath Big Gas Band later tonight! 🎸🔥
