Planning for college? Join us for Financial Aid Night on Tuesday, November 3, from 6–7 PM in the Athol High School Auditorium!

Presented by College Affordable, our nonprofit partner, this FREE event will help seniors and their families understand how to make college more affordable and reduce the cost of higher education.

✅ Understand and compare financial aid offers
✅ Appeal for additional aid and maximize scholarships
✅ Navigate student loans, budgeting, and college costs

This week, we’re celebrating Ann Roberts, Becky Cauley, and Ruth Robertson for the kindness, dedication, and care they bring to our school community every day! From supporting students in Early College, to creating a welcoming and safe school environment, to ensuring students feel cared for and valued, these three make a meaningful difference at AHS. ❤️

🏆🍎 THE HUNGER BOWL IS BACK, AHS! 🍎🏆

It’s that time of year again! The 2026 Hunger Bowl is right around the corner, and Athol High School is ready to defend our title! 💪❤️🖤

Last year, AHS brought home the Hunger Bowl Trophy, and we’re ready to do it again! 🏆 Let’s show our school spirit and come together to support an incredible cause.

📅 When: November 2–6, 2026
🥫 What to Donate: Non-perishable food items and essential hygiene products
❤️ Why: To stock the shelves of the Athol High School Community Food Pantry and help ensure local families have access to nourishing meals and everyday essentials as we head into winter.

The Hunger Bowl is more than a friendly competition between our schools. It’s about community, kindness, and showing up for one another. Every contribution matters, whether you donate an item, help sort donations, or spread the word!

Let’s rally together, Bear Nation! 🐻❤️🖤 Help us keep the trophy at AHS and make this year’s Hunger Bowl our best one yet!

🏓 A Little Pickleball, A Lot of Community Spirit! ❤️🖤

We are so grateful for this awesome donation of pickleball supplies from community members who took the time to play with some of our students and discovered their excitement for the game!

What started as an opportunity to connect through pickleball turned into a wonderful chance to bring something new to our school. Thanks to their generosity, our students will have the opportunity to enjoy pickleball right here at AHS!

A huge thank you to these community members for seeing an interest in our students and helping turn it into an opportunity. This is what community support is all about! 🐻❤️

🌟 Celebrating Our AHS Difference Makers! 🌟

We are excited to recognize Jenn, Matt, Iliana, and Josh for the incredible difference they make in our AHS community!

💙 Jenn brings positivity, kindness, and encouragement to Student Services, making everyone who walks through the door feel welcomed, valued, and seen.

🎸 Matt is a true teammate and collaborator who stepped up to help make our AHS Battle of the Bands a huge success, sharing his expertise and supporting both students and staff.

🏠 Iliana goes above and beyond to support students and families through consistent communication, home visits, and small-group support that helps students build skills and feel a true sense of belonging.

💻 Josh consistently goes the extra mile for his colleagues and AHS, using his expertise and flexibility to solve problems, support staff, and help our school run at its best.

⚾️ A Little Friendly Competition! ⚾️

The Yankees vs. Red Sox rivalry got a little more interesting at AHS! Mrs. Pagar Wein and Mr. Tucker made a friendly wager: whoever’s team came out on top would get to see the other proudly wearing their team’s jersey!

For the second year in a row, Mrs. Pagar Wein came out on top! 🏆

That means Mr. Tucker had to proudly sport the Yankees jersey! 😂

We love a little school spirit—and a little friendly competition! 😉
