Join us at Dacula City Hall for a special joint town hall with District 3 Commissioner Jasper Watkins III, District 4 Commissioner Matthew Holtkamp, and Dacula Mayor Trey King.

From 6:00pm to 7:30pm, residents will hear the latest updates from Districts 3 and 4 on key topics including transportation, parks, public safety, and more.

Can’t make it in person? The meeting will also stream live on Gwinnett County’s page Gwinnett County Government.

🚧 Road Closure Reminder 🚧

The section of McMillan Road between Sanjo Street and Robin Ridge Drive will be closed to thru traffic through the end of July to accommodate the Maple Creek Park entrance and intersection improvement project. Park access will remain available via the Robin Ridge Drive entrance.

Detour & Access Details:
• The closure spans Robin Ridge Dr. to Fortune Dr.
• Robin Ridge traffic will need to use Harbins Rd.
• Brookton Station (Fortune Dr.) traffic will detour north on McMillan Rd. to reach Winder Hwy/Harbins Rd.
• Sanjo St. will open and close periodically during ongoing two‑way road improvements through the fall.

🚧Upcoming Road Closure 🚧

Starting Tuesday, June 2, McMillan Road will close at the Maple Creek Park entrance for approximately two months while intersection and park‑entrance improvements are completed ahead of Gwinnett County’s upcoming roundabout project. Maple Creek Park will remain accessible from the Robin Ridge entrance.

As warmer weather brings more door to door activity, we want to remind residents to stay aware of authorized solicitors in the City of Dacula.
Anyone legally soliciting in our community must display two forms of identification:

• A Gwinnett County Solicitor Permit with picture ID
• A neon green City of Dacula Solicitor Card

If someone comes to your door without displaying both permits, please contact the City at 770-963-7451. Your awareness helps keep our neighborhoods safe and informed.
