Great things happen when a team breaks bread together.

In mid-September, the QuestCDC family gathered for our Fall Team Potluck to celebrate each other and kick off the season ahead. Over shared dishes and plenty of laughs, we got energized for everything coming up: ribbon cuttings, community events, and more opportunities to serve the Westside.

Behind every home built, every program delivered, and every neighbor supported is a team that shows up for one another. We're grateful for the people who make this mission possible.

Fall is here, and we're ready.

Thank you for making our Community Yard Sale a success!

On behalf of QuestCDC and our Supportive Services Department, we're grateful to every donor and contributor who helped make our Community Yard Sale, held earlier this month, a success. Your generosity gave residents access to clothing, household goods, hygiene products, and other essentials. A special shout-out to the QuestCDC departments that stopped by to show their support!

That's a wrap on National Wellness Month at QuestCDC.

This month, we introduced you to the people behind the work — the case managers, house managers, peer specialists, and program nurse who show up for our residents every single day at Quest Cares and The Leonard House.

We heard from Melissa Tyson on what wellness really means. From Tamekia Shumpert and Vincent Gray on what it takes to help someone get — and stay — housed. From LaKesha Simon on honoring the veterans in our care. From Tiajila Clemons, Jonathan Luckett, and Charles Rice on what recovery and stability look like at The Leonard House. From Primrose Wahome on the physical side of healing. And we welcomed Tanya Scott, the newest member of our Quest Cares team.

Wellness isn't a monthly theme for this team — it's the work, every day of the year. Thank you to everyone on our Supportive Services teams for the care you bring to Atlanta's Westside.

Here's to 25 years of showing up — and many more ahead.

We're proud to share that our Founder and CEO, Leonard L. Adams Jr., has once again been named to Atlanta Magazine's Atlanta 500 — a list honoring the city's most influential leaders.

This recognition comes as we celebrate 25 Years Strong, and it's a testament to Leonard's unwavering commitment to affordable housing and community empowerment on Atlanta's Westside and beyond.

Congratulations, Leonard — this one's for the whole QuestCDC family and the communities we serve together.

Please join us in welcoming Tanya Scott to the Quest Cares team as a new Case Manager of Supportive Services!

In her role, Tanya will focus on promoting housing stability, well-being, and self-sufficiency for our clients — assessing individual needs, building personalized service plans, coordinating community resources, advocating for continuity of care, monitoring progress, and providing crisis intervention when it's needed most.

Tanya brings more than 10 years of experience in advocacy, behavioral health, housing, and case management, along with the discipline and service-oriented perspective of a U.S. Army veteran and public safety experience as a Juvenile Correctional Officer.

Welcome to the team, Tanya — we're glad you're here.
