🏳️‍🌈 ARC was proud to be back at the Atlanta Pride Festival for the fourth year in a row! Our Aging and Independence Services team was there celebrating inclusion and raising awareness for the types of help we offer older Atlantans, adults living with disabilities, and caregivers.

Finding the right resources for seniors can be challenging, particularly for members of the LGBTQ+ community who may not always feel comfortable being open about their needs. That’s why we’re here to help. ARC's Empowerline service helps connect older adults with information and resources to support aging, independence, and wellbeing.

Everyone deserves to feel seen and celebrated at every age. Our commitment to the LGBTQ+ community is backed by our team’s recent Platinum credential from SAGECare, recognizing the highest level of cultural competency.

Applications for Senior Hunger Coalition Mini-Grants FY27 are now open!

The Coalition’s objective is to identify and support new anti-hunger initiatives for older adults. Open to organizations serving adults 60 and older, the mini-grants aim to address food insecurity within the 10-county metro area: Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Douglas, Fayette, Fulton, Gwinnett, Henry, and Rockdale.

* There will be two mini-grants awarded at $2,500 per grantee. (Please note this is a reimbursement grant.)
* Grant submission deadline: 10/16 by 5:00 pm
* Grantee award notification: 10/30
