The Abernathy Center at the Historic West Hunter Street Baptist Church The Abernathy Center is a non-profit community center located at the Historic West Hunter Street Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Under the pastorship of Rev. Dr. Ralph David Abernathy, this church was a major planning center of the Civil Rights Movement in the 1960s.
