NEW BUSINESS: Today we celebrated the Grand Opening of CenterWell Senior Primary Care. The new facility is located on Old National Highway and is the first of seven locations opening in the Atlanta area. The center provides increased access to healthcare in an area that has traditionally been neglected.

CenterWell Senior Primary Care has a strong emphasis on senior-focused primary care for members of Medicare Advantage health plans and is committed to providing personalized, high-quality primary care combined with an excellent patient experience. CenterWell Senior Primary Care has experience in both the treatment and management of most chronic and acute-care conditions. The practices also provide health education and value-added, well-being services at the centers and around their neighborhoods to help both patients and community members improve their health.

Today Mayor Edwards and members of City Council participated in the Ribbon Cutting for the new Habitat ReStore on Old National Highway.

The new 30,000 square-foot facility will be a hub for Atlanta Habitat’s South Fulton County community engagement. In addition to its first-time homebuyer program for income-qualified families, Atlanta Habitat will offer beyond-the-build programs that include:

Repair with Kindness – critical home repair services to longstanding homeowners
Brush with Kindness – exterior home painting and minor repairs to current Atlanta Habitat homeowners and their neighbors
My Money. My Future.— comprehensive, year-long financial literacy coaching for aspiring homeowners to manage their finances and set goals.

The South Fulton campus will include a second Atlanta Habitat ReStore.

Small Business Grant Program
We know that your business may be experiencing disruptions resulting from the global outbreak of COVID-19. The City of South Fulton has allocated $500,000 in CARES Act funding to provide cash grants to help businesses during this challenging time. The maximum grant amount will be $19,000.

The City of South Fulton has partnered with Micro Village Fund to administer and award grant funds.
