Join us for our Justice on the Ballot webinar as we breakdown voter eligibility, registration deadlines, voting options, and what’s on the ballot ahead of the upcoming election season. This conversation is centered on making sure our communities have the information and tools needed to participate fully and make informed decisions.

We’re also honored to have Norris Henderson, Founder & Executive Director of Voice of the Experienced (VOTE), joining us as a guest speaker to share insight on the importance of civic engagement and collective community power.

When BMI says F*ck the streets we mean, F*ck the police that harass us, the prisons that incarcerate us, the real estate tycoons that take advantage of us, the jobs that underpay us, and F*ck the politicians that fail us!

Revolution starts with conversation ! We’re talking to our people and empowering our communities, because we believe in our people.

Our people deserve a system that supports our needs. One that doesn’t only punish us for our worst moments, but helps us become our best self’s!

True restoration is an inside job. As we reflect on our summit it was not only about looking into the systems that perpetuate harm and violence, but also about looking inward to see how each of us is personally responsible for repairing harm.

The Supreme Court just ripped away a core American freedom: the right to a fair and equal vote in elections. The ruling does not change voting maps today, but it sends a clear signal that Republican legislatures are free to redraw voting maps and rig them against the will of the people.

This makes it easier for politicians to silence Black and Brown Americans, and harder to elect leaders who work for affordable housing and healthcare, good jobs, and strong public schools.

If your vote didn’t matter, they wouldn’t be working so hard to take it away.

What a time! So many great moments and conversations held at the Restoration & Representation Summit. We did it once and we kept our word and ran it back again. A lot of familiar and new faces came to show support and create change, recognizing how important it is to discuss the issues regarding our criminal justice system!
