The Office of Charter School Compliance (OCSC) has released the inaugural academic accountability report for locally-authorized charter schools.
The 2024-25 school year report is based on the Local Comprehensive Performance Framework (LCPF) adopted by the OCSC and the State Board of Education in November 2025. The LCPF establishes clear, quantifiable, rigorous, and attainable goals across academic achievement, financial viability, and organizational compliance.
The academic report is designed to answer the fundamental question: Is the educational program offering students a better educational opportunity than they would otherwise receive in traditional district schools?
