We are off to a phenomenal start to the 2026–2027 school year, continuing our commitment to serving students, staff, and our community “Beyond the Badge.”

On July 25, our officers participated in First Day Fulton at Banneker High School and Centennial High School. First Day Fulton is a districtwide initiative that welcomes new and returning students and their families by providing school registration assistance, school supplies, valuable district resources, and opportunities to connect with the many departments that support student success.

On August 4, we also represented FCSPD at National Night Out events in Sandy Springs and South Fulton. National Night Out is a nationwide community-building campaign that strengthens partnerships between law enforcement, residents, and community stakeholders while promoting safer, stronger neighborhoods through positive engagement and fellowship.

These events reflect our department’s commitment to building trust, strengthening relationships, and creating positive interactions with the communities we serve. Every act of service reinforces our mission to support students and families both inside and outside of our schools.

Thank you to all the officers who participated and represented our department with professionalism, compassion, and pride. Your dedication continues to demonstrate what it truly means to serve Beyond the Badge.

On August 1, 2023 National Night Out (NNO) celebrated 40 years of service to the community. National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships. It also works to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.

Our agency participated in NNO events in the cities of Sandy Springs and South Fulton. We were able to engage with other public safety agencies, local businesses, nonprofit organizations, and community members. This provided another opportunity to showcase our phenomenal agency outside of the school setting.

At our South Fulton location we held a free bike raffle where we were able to give 3 bikes to some deserving community members.

Sgt. Moody was visited by one of her former GREAT students.

On Saturday 07/29 members of the Fulton County Schools Police Department participated in “First Day Fulton” at Benjamin Banneker High School and North Springs High School. First Day Fulton allows students and their families to engage with all levels of school district staff prior to the start of the school year. At both of these locations officers engaged with FCS employees, students, local businesses, and community members.
