About Last Night! Thank you! Thank you!Thank you to all my family & friends that showed up & showed out even in the rain! It was an amazing turnout for the Pink Out 2019 Breast Cancer Awareness Celebration. Your donated clothing items & financial gifts are so greatly appreciated. Every Wed in Oct. I feature Portraits of Survivors. Today we honor Lillian Franklin Jackson, another one of my lovely Columbus hometown friends. Lillian is right in the midst of her breast cancer journey. She was diagnosed this July with Stage 3 Malignant Neoplasm of the right breast. Due to the size of the tumor, her treatment involves 20 rounds of chemo with Nov 1st being her last & then she will be scheduled for a double mastectomy. Her Oncologist has given her a 50/50 survival rate. Lillian's journey hasn't been easy & her life has drastically changed. Some days she feels like giving up BUT then she is reminded of those that have fought & won their battles. Lillian says she is "In It To Win It & Early Detection is Key!" I am so proud of my Pink Sister who has put on her boxing gloves & will kick cancer's butt!
