"I came into this program somewhat lost about my field and not knowing anyone. I wanted to learn more about the different ways I could stand out. This mentorship program helped me learn what recruiters are looking for."

That's one voice from the Spring 2026 WIT Campus Mentorship Program. There are 54 more like it.

This spring, 55 college women and 14 industry mentors spent nine weeks together in structured small-group mentoring built around one goal: closing the gap between campus and a technology career.

The results:
94% left more confident in their job readiness
88% felt a stronger sense of belonging in tech
83% expanded their professional network

Do you know a high school girl who is curious about technology, already stepping into her potential, and bringing others along with her?

The WIT Girl of the Year award was made for her.

This recognition is open to junior and senior high school girls who have participated in at least one WIT Girls program. It is a self-application, so share this with her directly and encourage her to tell her own story. Because the future of technology looks like her. And she deserves to know it.

Share this application link with her: πŸ”— https://ow.ly/cYnW50Z4tUG

You walk into the room thinking the decision is still on the table. It isn't.

The women who influence outcomes know the real work happens before the calendar invite goes out. It's called doing the meetings before the meetings, and it's one of the most powerful moves in a leader's playbook.

Nominations close this Friday, May 29!

The WIT Woman to Watch award recognizes emerging leaders who are already making an impact, women with exceptional trajectory who aren't waiting for permission to lead. This is for the rising leader who is building something, driving something, and inspiring the people around her along the way.

That might be someone in your network. Or it might be you.

Self-nomination is encouraged. Tell us your story (or hers) in your own words.

She leads with vision. She drives change that goes far beyond her title. And she's someone you know.

The Woman of the Year award is WIT's highest honor, recognizing executive-level women whose impact extends well beyond themselves. Whether she's leading transformation at a major enterprise, scaling her own company, or driving change in a mission-driven organization, what matters is the scope of her leadership. Not her title. Not how long she's been in the role.

The Woman of the Year award spans three subcategories:
✨ Enterprise Executive
✨ Organizational Executive
✨ Emerging Executive

You don't need to choose. Just tell us why she deserves to be recognized. The nominee will be assigned to the subcategory that best fits her story.

We were so proud to have our CEO, Heather Rocker, and WIT Board President, Betsy Robinson, together at the 2026 Georgia Titan 100 ceremony at the Delta Flight Museum, sharing the stage with Georgia's top leaders.

And more exciting news: Heather has been selected to join the Georgia Titan 100 Board for 2026. She'll help shape the direction of this community of leaders doing meaningful work across our state, and we know she'll bring the same energy and vision she brings to WIT every day.

Congratulations to you both! πŸ’œ
