Here’s another look at the 5th Annual SYEP Signing Day, where Atlanta’s young people, employers and community partners came together to celebrate opportunity in action.

Through SYEP, young Atlantans gain paid work experience, build confidence in the workplace and begin exploring career pathways that can shape what comes next.
When businesses open their doors, mentors show up and families support the journey, this becomes more than a program. It becomes an investment in Atlanta’s future and in the young people who will help lead it.

Thank you to every partner, employer, mentor, parent, guardian and student helping make Atlanta the best place in the nation to raise a child.

Atlanta, putting residents first means making sure communities have a real voice in how investments are made in their neighborhoods.

Reforming TAD Advisory Committees would help increase neighborhood representation, streamline how residents join, bring residents and partners together for more collaboration, and guide investments through regular strategic planning.

Atlanta celebrated the closing of the Jimmy & Rosalynn Carter Work Project 2026, marking the completion of 28 new homes in Southwest Atlanta alongside Atlanta Habitat for Humanity.

Volunteers, partners and supporters from near and far came together to build homes and pour back into the community, carrying forward the spirit of service that President Jimmy Carter and Mrs. Rosalynn Carter shared with the world.
For Atlanta, this is what community looks like in action: people coming together to help more families call this city home.

This moment was more than a build. It was a reminder of what is possible when people come together with purpose, compassion and a shared commitment to helping families thrive for generations.
