Attending the Annual Meeting of Latvia’s Honorary Consuls at the Embassy in Washington, D.C., representing Latvia in the state of Georgia, was a great honor. The discussions provided valuable insights into Latvia’s key priorities, including national security, foreign policy, economic initiatives, and cultural endeavors.
The meeting emphasized the essential role Honorary Consuls play in fostering strong connections between Latvia and U.S. communities. Ambassador Elita Kuzma expressed gratitude for our collective efforts and emphasized the importance of deepening U.S.-Latvia relations through continued partnership and engagement with the current administration. It is a privilege to be part of this dedicated group working to strengthen the transatlantic bond and promote shared values.
