The City of South Fulton will begin accepting applications for the FY 2026 Food Insecurity Grant Program on June 8, 2026.

Eligible nonprofit organizations serving residents of the City of South Fulton are encouraged to apply for funding to support programs that expand food access, address food insecurity, and strengthen community-based food assistance efforts.

Application Period: June 8-26, 2026
Deadline: June 26, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.

Calling all future women firefighters!

Applications are now open for the 2026 Camp E.M.B.E.R.S. (Every Member Brings Excellence, Resilience and Significance).

Since 2022, Camp E.M.B.E.R.S. has empowered young women to explore careers in fire service and public safety while building confidence, leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. Participants will experience hands-on firefighting activities, learn emergency response fundamentals, meet firefighters, and gain a behind-the-scenes look at the profession.

More than a camp, E.M.B.E.R.S. is an opportunity to discover new strengths, develop lifelong skills, and connect with mentors who are making a difference in our community every day.

CANCELLED: The Under the Gold Dome Community Engagement Meeting scheduled for Monday, June 15, hosted by District 6 Councilwoman Natasha Williams-Brown and State Representative Debra Bazemore, has been canceled.

THIS THURSDAY: The City of South Fulton’s Department of Public Works is hosting a Public Information Meeting on Thursday, June 4, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to share proposed traffic calming measures for the Oakhurst Glen subdivision.

The meeting will be held at the Oakhurst Glen Clubhouse, located at 4450 Merrigold Way, South Fulton, GA 30213.

The City of South Fulton’s Department of Public Works is hosting a Public Information Meeting on Wednesday, June 3, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to share proposed traffic calming measures for the Cascade Hills and The Summit at Cascade Hills subdivisions.

The meeting will be held at the Sandtown Recreation Center, located at 5370 Campbellton Rd. SW, South Fulton, GA 30331. Community members are encouraged to attend and provide input as the City discusses the proposed traffic calming study.
