16-year-old Juliana Nzita was found dead after being missing for around 10 days. Originally reported missing on April 28, the body of Nzita was discovered hanging from a tree on church property on May 8. Her body was found by community volunteer Kenneth Tolbert on the property of a House of Prayer in the Charlotte, North Carolina area. Authorities quickly ruled her death a su***de, closing the case without conducting a formal investigation.
The swift closure has sparked widespread grief and criticism from community members and advocates, who believe that Juliana's case is indicative of a larger issue of systemic neglect towards missing and deceased Black kids - in particular, young girls - characterized by delayed responses, limited resources, and premature conclusions. Supporters are advocating for a thorough investigation, insisting that Juliana be given the same attention and urgency as other missing children. Her family, community, and online advocates are still grieving her loss and pushing for answers.
Juliana Nzita did not hang herself! We advocate for her, and we too demand answers and justice for her death.

On the night of September 13, 1975, someone’s daughter vanished into history without a name.
She was found unresponsive on a street in Compton, California, and later pronounced dead in Los Angeles County. Investigators estimated she was only 14 to 17 years old — a teenage girl who never made it home.
Authorities described her as a Black female standing between 4’10” and 5’3”, weighing around 100 pounds. Decades have passed, yet no confirmed identity has ever been attached to her case. Officially, she remains known only through numbers:
ME/C Case Number: 1975-11050
NamUs Case Number: UP4458
But behind those records was a real life. A girl with a voice, memories, fears, and people who may have spent years wondering what happened to her.
Nearly fifty years later, her story still sits unfinished.
No name.
No answers.
No closure.
Somewhere, there may still be someone who remembers a missing girl from 1975 — someone who never knew where she went, or why she never came back.
Who was she?
And after all this time, will her name ever be returned to her?

I walked safely in the area Derek went missing
I grew up very close to where Derek went missing.
I worked in the same Campcreek Market Place where Derek went missing.
Angel Wings for the Missing Trafficked Homeless was created from the pain and agony of not knowing where my loved one was, and it was continued after locating my loved one.
From that experience, the amazing help of the public, church family, friends, extended help from friends, the Atlanta Marta family, A.W.F.T.M.T.H. continues.
PLEASE, let's give that same help to this family who desperately needs answers, hope, your eyes, and your shares.
THIS IS WHAT WE KNOW SO FAR

On January 23, 2012, 24-year-old Anthony Omari became a symbol of selfless courage when he defended the Faraja Children’s Home in Ngong, Kenya, from an arm*d g*ng.
Omari, the custodian of the orphanage run by his mother, Martha Bosire, awoke to find six men wielding mach*tes in his room—the fourth such break-in that month.
Using a hammer he kept for protection, Omari engaged the intruders alone, driving them out of the house to shield the 37 children sleeping nearby.
During the struggle, Omari took a direct mach*te blow to the face, sustaining a deep gash that required 11 stitches.
