We made it to the last day of the 2025–26 school year! Today was full of celebration with awards for running and perfect attendance, plenty of Field Day fun, and time together as a school family before summer begins.
To our 8th graders and their families, we are so proud of you and wish you all the best in this next chapter. Remember, you will always have a home at ANCS.
To our returning students, we can’t wait to welcome you back on August 4th. Have a wonderful summer, Wolves! 💙🐺

The week of celebrations continued this morning as we welcomed back ANCS alumni who are now preparing to graduate from high school. It was so special to celebrate them at Morning Meeting, hear about what’s ahead, and reflect on how far they’ve come since their days at ANCS. No matter where life takes them next, they will always be part of this community. Once a Wolf, always a Wolf! 💙🐺

This morning, we had the incredible honor of celebrating Kelly Dennis, whose impact on ANCS over the past 24 years is truly impossible to measure. Throughout her time at ANCS, Kelly has worn countless hats, supported generations of students and families, and helped shape the heart of our school community.
During this special gathering, students, teachers, parents, and colleagues shared heartfelt messages reflecting on Kelly’s kindness, dedication, steady presence, and the many ways she has touched lives across our community. The celebration concluded with the entire school singing a special song for Kelly, a sweet way to cap off a special morning together.
It was especially meaningful to see founding members of the ANCS community standing alongside current staff and parents to celebrate Kelly’s extraordinary commitment and lasting legacy. That kind of full-circle moment speaks volumes about the impact she has had on this school over more than two decades.
Kelly, thank you for the care, compassion, and love you have poured into ANCS for 24 years. Once a Wolf, always a Wolf. 🐺💙

The 2025–26 ANCS Yearbooks have arrived!
This year’s Yearbook Club did an outstanding job putting together a book filled with the moments, friendships, and memories that made this school year special. These students dedicated countless hours to designing pages, selecting photos, and bringing the yearbook to life: Abbie Cobb, Liam Bier, Kendall Brannan, Maxine Cross, Pfeiffer Dojnik, Calvin Lennon, Soleil Lutz, Louie Monnier, Anna Paisley, Dottie Nowak, Oliver Furtsch, Cora Teusink, and Natalie Womack.
Special shout out to 8th grader Abbie Cobb, designer of this year’s cover!

It’s the last Friday before the final week of school, which means one thing at the Elementary Campus…Field Day! Students are spending the day enjoying field games, water slides, face painting, bubbles, and lots of end-of-year fun with friends and teachers. A perfect way to celebrate another great year at ANCS!
A huge thank you to the many parent volunteers helping make this special day possible, and to Coach Daniel for coordinating such a fun-filled event for our students!

Kindergarten teacher Brittnay Sattler recently traveled to Tanzania for an epic adventure and to represent ANCS on Africa’s highest peak! After nine hard days of rain, hail, and determination, her group of 10 women summited Mount Kilimanjaro alongside the incredible all-women Wonder Women Tanzanian guide team and 42 porters. The entire experience was filmed and will be turned into a documentary about perseverance and beating the odds.
One of the most meaningful parts of the journey was visiting a local primary school before the trek. Thanks to the generosity of ANCS families, they were able to donate more than $1,000 worth of much-needed school supplies to students and teachers.
ANCS definitely reaches further than just 688 Grant Street! ❤️🐺

Our 8th graders are making memories in Savannah this week as they celebrate the culmination of their ANCS journey together. From exploring the history of Fort Pulaski and Wormsloe Historic Site to soaking up the sun at Tybee Island, wandering River Street, taking part in a scavenger hunt and ghost walk, and even dancing the night away at Old Fort Jackson, this trip is packed with unforgettable experiences and time together as a class.
Students are also diving into Savannah’s rich culture and history with visits to the Massie Heritage Center, Beach Institute, and Pin Point Heritage Museum, plus getting a glimpse into college life with a tour of Savannah College of Art and Design.
What a special way to celebrate the end of their ANCS journey together. 💙
