What a wonderful afternoon at the Towers! 🍅👨‍🍳

Chef Zach joined our residents for a live cooking class featuring a delicious sun-dried tomato recipe from Culinary Judaics Academy— and the turnout was one of the best we've ever seen!

The kitchen was full of learning, laughter, and so much fun. Moments like these are what make our community so special.

Thank you, Chef Zach, for bringing us all together and making it such a memorable afternoon! 🍚

Earlier today, a garbage truck struck a main gas line on Jewish HomeLife’s Howell Mill Road campus. Out of an abundance of caution, the William Breman Jewish Home, Balser Tower, and Zaban Tower were evacuated. All residents were safely relocated to designated areas and remain secure. City of Atlanta Fire Rescue and the gas company are on site managing the situation, and Jewish HomeLife staff continue to focus on resident safety and care. Updates will be shared when available.

🎨 Higher Self Art Show at Balser & Zaban Towers 🎨

We were honored to host the Higher Self Art Show at Balser & Zaban Towers, a celebration of creativity, self-expression, and the extraordinary women whose artistry fills the Ethel Ornstein Art Studio.

This inspiring exhibit showcased artwork created through months of dedication and weekly classes led by the talented and passionate instructor Steffi Nicole. Each piece reflected not only skill and imagination, but personal stories, growth, and heart.

The show was met with an incredible turnout from residents, families, and friends—transforming our community into a vibrant gallery filled with pride, joy, and connection.

Thank you to the artists for sharing your higher selves with us, and to everyone who joined us in celebrating creativity at every stage of life. 💫
