Ensuring the voices of Black women, and Q***r and Trans Youth of Color living in the South are included in the reproductive rights & justice movements.

SPARK is a reproductive justice (RJ) organization based in Atlanta, GA, advocating for policies that protect and expand access to the full range of family planning options, abortion, and sexual health education for women and youth of color in the state of Georgia. Importantly, SPARK ensures the voices of women of color, young parents, and LGBTQQ youth of color living in the south are included in the reproductive rights and justice movements.

~FYRE Camp is back!! 🥳 ~

This year’s FYRE Media Justice Camp theme, “Stand Up, Clap Back” invites participants to explore themes central to the fight for Reproductive Justice and liberation, using stand-up and storytelling to amplify their voices and visions.

During Camp, participants will create a tight five, also known as a 5-minute set, that spotlights one or more of the following: Q***r and Trans Liberation, Healthcare Access, Trans Justice, Autonomy, Sexual Liberation, and Abolition. Deep diving into the pivotal themes of reproductive justice and liberation, using the camera as a powerful tool for expression.

Participants will also engage in political education, guided by local organizers both within SPARK and beyond, immersing themselves in the critical work of reproductive justice.

SPARK is seeking participants who reflect our base: Black women and queer/trans young people of color, ages 18-35.

FYRE 2026 will be hosted in Atlanta, GA, but applicants from anywhere in the south are welcome to apply! Travel and accommodations will be covered for all selected participants.
