It's been loooong time coming...but we are back in business. It's time to bring ATLywood back into the light.

Salwaa's Lemon & Garlic Butter Sauce Prawns

Salwaa Smith - Cape Malay Cooking & Other Delights

Butterfly (split) 1kg headless extra large prawns
Spice with fish masala and set aside.

Melt 150gr butter in a saucepan
Add half a cup fresh cream
1/2 tsp of dry parsley
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp of Aromat
1/4 tsp of black pepper
Half of a freshly squeezed lemon and allow to simmer.
Before it reaches boiling point add half a teaspoon cornflour and allow to thicken

Flash fry prawns in a little oil for about a minute.
Add to the butter and cream sauce or pour butter and cream mixture over prawns.

Serve with hot chips and a salad of choice.
