Lowndes County Chairman Bill Slaughter has been reappointed vice chair of the Federal Policy Committee for the ACCG Georgia Counties. ACCG policy committees develop positions on key issues impacting county government. Those issues are later approved by the full association membership as the ACCG Policy Priorities, which guide the association’s advocacy efforts on behalf of counties during the legislative session.
We are incredibly proud of Chairman Slaughter for being reappointed as Vice Chair of the Federal Policy Committee, and for the strong impact he continues to have at both the state and federal levels.
