Atlanta recently ranked 3rd of the 80 largest metro areas in the best markets for commercial real estate in the annual Emerging Trends in Real Estate report from The Urban Land Institute and PWC. Several factors were cited as driving the high ranking: An office market buoyed by job growth tracking well ahead of the U.S., Ranking as a top-10 data center market, Emerging life science cluster, and its position as a “Super Sunbelt Market” with strong economic prospects and robust population growth.

During the event, MAC leaders recapped the year’s accomplishments, debuted our new regional brand film, unveiled our new website, and presented our new strategic plan, which focuses on three strategic imperatives: Economy, Talent and Community.

It's Throwback Thursday and we are flashing back to our inaugural ATL Action for Racial Equity Summit held on October 3rd at the . The signature event showcased region-wide progress across the ATL Action for Racial Equity initiative’s four key areas: corporate policies, inclusive economic development, education, and workforce development. Attendees heard thought-provoking panel discussions featuring prominent Atlanta business leaders actively working to propel racial equity in the region.

We are delighted to announce the 2022 Metro Export Challenge (MEC) cohort! The 9 selected companies represent a wide range of industries and will comprise the 6th MEC cohort.

This annual program provides metro Atlanta-based companies with grants to use for expenses related to international business growth as well as travel vouchers provided by Delta Air Lines. Additionally, cohort members will benefit from a tailored mentorship program to assist in the development of global sales plans and go-to-market strategies

The launch of the 2022 cohort marks the 6th year of the MEC, which has, over its lifetime, supported more than 129 exporters and provided more than $690,000 in grants to metro Atlanta companies.
