With an outstanding art and music scene, Atlanta has been revealed as the #1 most creative city in the nation. A new report by Workamajig takes a deep dive into the environmental factors that impact creativity in order to find the most creative cities and towns in the U.S.
With burnout rates at an all-time high, many are looking for fresh sources of inspiration in their lives and experiences that combine their love for art and music. In the past year, Google searches for ‘cities with best music scene’ and 'best cities for street art' skyrocketed by 100% in the U.S. alone.

Congratulations to for the grand opening of its North American headquarters in Atlanta. Founded in 2015, the startup currently employs about 50 workers in Atlanta and expects to double that by 2025.
The company developed multiple hardware and software products, including its Skypod robots that deliver goods and its Skypicker robots that use robotic arms to move up to 600 items per hour. Exotec has 550 employees worldwide and works with multiple brands, including Gap, Geodis, Ariat and Decathlon.

Atlanta recently ranked 3rd of the 80 largest metro areas in the best markets for commercial real estate in the annual Emerging Trends in Real Estate report from The Urban Land Institute and PWC. Several factors were cited as driving the high ranking: An office market buoyed by job growth tracking well ahead of the U.S., Ranking as a top-10 data center market, Emerging life science cluster, and its position as a “Super Sunbelt Market” with strong economic prospects and robust population growth.

Today, more than 1200 metro Atlanta business leaders gathered at the Coca-Cola Roxy for our 163rd Annual Meeting. During the event, MAC leaders recapped the year’s accomplishments, debuted our new regional brand film, unveiled our new website, and presented our new strategic plan, which focuses on three strategic imperatives: Economy, Talent and Community.

Georgia Tech has been named by WalletHub.com as the top-performing public institution in the U.S. for return on education investment. Each year, the finance website compares nearly 1,000 American colleges to determine their rankings for schools providing the best education at the lowest possible cost. The rankings are calculated using data for 30 different metrics including student selectivity, cost, faculty resources, campus experience, and educational and career outcomes.

The signature event showcased region-wide progress across the ATL Action for Racial Equity initiative’s four key areas: corporate policies, inclusive economic development, education, and workforce development. Attendees heard thought-provoking panel discussions featuring prominent Atlanta business leaders actively working to propel racial equity in the region.

We are delighted to announce the 2022 Metro Export Challenge (MEC) cohort! The 9 selected companies represent a wide range of industries and will comprise the 6th MEC cohort.
This annual program provides metro Atlanta-based companies with grants to use for expenses related to international business growth as well as travel vouchers provided by Delta Air Lines. Additionally, cohort members will benefit from a tailored mentorship program to assist in the development of global sales plans and go-to-market strategies
The launch of the 2022 cohort marks the 6th year of the MEC, which has, over its lifetime, supported more than 129 exporters and provided more than $690,000 in grants to metro Atlanta companies.
