Kate's Club

🎓 Graduating from high school is an achievement for anyone, but for teenagers who are grieving the death of someone close to them, that moment of walking across the stage to get their diploma can symbolize everything they have overcome to get there.

These are just a handful of our Kate's Club high school graduates, but we want to give a big congratulations to any teenager who has worked hard for their diploma. ✨

We had a blast at our end-of-the-semester facilitator appreciation event!! ✨ We recognize all of the hard work that our facilitators do, as they are essential to our work in schools and help us to serve grieving children across 24 counties in Georgia!

We spent the morning celebrating self-care, and each facilitator's painting and gift were based on their specific hobbies, whether that be reading, drinking tea, or creating a world where it's okay to grieve!

Kate's Club provides 100% free grief support to children, teens, their families, and young adults grieving the death of someone close to them. A big thank you to Cox Automotive for an awesome day of volunteering and building benches with us! They assembled our new outdoor benches, which will be used during our clubhouse programs for eating lunch, sitting and talking with new friends, or hosting fun group activities!

On top of all their hard work, they made a generous $520 donation to Kate's Club! Thank you so much, Cox Automotive, for being part of Team Kate's Club!

We are so excited to announce that Kate's Club is one of the 2026 Project for Awesome grant recipients! Kate's Club will receive a $44,000 grant! We are so grateful to everyone in our Kate’s Club community for voting, to Julia and Fallon for sharing their experience with grief after the death of their dad, and to the Project For Awesome team and their incredible supporters for organizing and voting in this amazing fundraising event! Mother's Day H.U.G.S is a celebration of the lives of the moms and mother figures who we are grieving during Mother's Day. Each family decorated a "Be Right Back Box" together with words and pictures that remind them of their mom. 🩷
