Part 20 | since the early 1900s, Black life was criminalized, and a narrative was created to defame our self image and our image in society. this condition has existed since so called emancipation and is still prevelant to this day. the media uses imagery to spread negative projections of black people and black life and use it as the standard depiction of us to be judge by others. now terms like thug and ghetto are synonymous with black culture on a global scale. it’s not by accident it’s by design. #iamchairmanali #blackhistory ##weholdthesetruthspodcast
