Benjamin L. Sentell
Larry P. Collins
Frank M. Ellerbee
John T. “Sonny” King, III
Robert M. Kirk
William L. Deloach

We are forever grateful to all who serve, and we will never forget those who laid down their lives to protect others.

Task Force Agent John Johnson
EOW May 1, 2026

We are mourning with our Northwest Georgia Drug Task Force and the Haralson County Sheriff’s Office at the sudden passing of GBI Task Force Agent John Johnson. TFA Johnson dedicated 18 years of service to the sheriff’s office and has been assigned to the task force since 2017.

TFA Johnson was a respected leader within the task force and throughout his community, mentoring new agents and continuing to serve others even while off duty.

Our hearts are with his family, friends, and fellow law enforcement officers during this time of profound loss. We will forever remember the legacy Task Force Agent Johnson leaves behind.
