Grant Park Conservancy We are committed to the restoration, beautification and maintenance of historic Grant Park.

If you'd like to support our mission, visit: https://www.gpconservancy.org/get-involved/support/ The Grant Park Conservancy (GPC) began as a group of concerned Atlanta residents who recognized the need to protect Grant Park, Atlanta's oldest city park, from the demands of growing use and declining maintenance. During an updated master plan process commissioned by the city of Atlanta Bureau of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs this group realized that the impetus to implement the new plan would come only from concerned citizens. The Conservancy was formed and now works to raise funds to carry out its mission and provide an enjoyable greenspace for families, visitors and residents of nearby neighborhoods.

There’s a lot of work that goes into caring for our park, and some tasks are less noticeable than others. We recently spent time cleaning up and tidying the Constitution Spring area to keep it looking its best. Swipe through to see a few before-and-after photos of our work, and take a walk over to enjoy the turning leaves and cooler weather at this special corner of the park!

📣 As you may have heard we’re expanding our 🌳 Canopy Care Program💚to add hundreds 💯 of trees to Grant Park and help preserve the long-term health of the park's canopy. We're partnering with Trees Atlanta on a multi-year successional tree plan to add new trees and shrubs across nine areas of the park.

💚 Would you like to help? We'll have two volunteer days in November and December to plant the first trees and shrubs at the Athletic Field / Dog Park area and around the Rec Center. ✅ Sign up to volunteer and help preserve Grant Park's canopy! 🌳🌲💪
