We at Jim’s Smokin’ Que love giving back to the community. We had the absolute pleasure of partnering with Stan Gunter and our incredible State Representatives to send some of our BBQ down to South Georgia for those affected by the recent hurricane.

Our hearts are with the affected communities, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to provide a little comfort during this challenging time. Thank you to everyone involved for making this possible, and to our fellow Georgians for showing strength and resilience in the face of adversity.

Great night with friends and family as we celebrated our win. Thanks to the people in District 8 for allowing me to serve another term as your State Representative. Rita and I are grateful to everyone who supported us during this campaign. God Bless our community and our great state.

I was surprised and honored to receive a plaque at the Blairsville-Union County Chamber of Commerce Eggs & Issues from John Wilkinson, President of North Georgia Technical College, in appreciation and recognition for the dedicated support to technical education and North Georgia Technical College.

Senator Steve Gooch and I worked together to secure $4.75 million for NGTC Blairsville Campus to fund CDL program in the fiscal year 2025 budget.

It was great having our Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper visit Blairsville this week. Commissioner Harper was our guest speaker at the Chamber of Commerce Eggs & Issues event this morning. He gave a very interesting speech on the value of agriculture in our state.

The Georgia FFA Foundation did a great job hosting the event at the Union Co Ag Center and wrapped up with a tour of the facility and the projects in place. Thanks to the Blairsville-Union County Chamber of Commerce for putting this great event together and everyone who came out to support it.

The Georgia General Assembly delivered historic victories for Georgia families. Our conservative values were well represented through legislation lowering taxes, expanding school choice, and supporting Israel and the Jewish people.

Thank you to Governor Brian Kemp, Lt. Governor Burt Jones, Speaker Jon Burns, and the members of the Georgia House of Representatives and Georgia State Senate for their leadership in advancing freedom in Georgia.
