Due to stormwater repairs needed along the Eastside Trail, the trail is scheduled to close on Wednesday, June 3, 2026 from the corner of Hazelbrand Road and Martin Street to the section of the trail that passes underneath Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue (the bypass). The closure will last several days.
Unfortunately, there is not a safe detour route available for trail users as it impacts the area that travels underneath the bypass. As a result, the aforementioned section of the trail will be closed to through traffic while the work is being completed.
Currently, there is not an estimated reopening date, but information will be updated when more details become available. Please share with your friends and neighbors who utilize the Eastside Trail and thank you for your patience during construction.
