It is with sad and heavy hearts that we convey to you the loss of internationally renowned, 6 time Grammy Award-winning, saxophonist, David Sanborn. Mr. Sanborn passed Sunday afternoon, May 12th, after an extended battle with prostate cancer with complications.

Mr. Sanborn had been dealing with prostate cancer since 2018, but had been able to maintain his normal schedule of concerts until just recently. Indeed he already had concerts scheduled into 2025.

David Sanborn was a seminal figure in contemporary pop and jazz music. It has been said that he "put the saxophone back into Rock ’n Roll.”

After I co-authored the book:
“I Left My Prostate in San Francisco Where’s Yours?”

I heard from a woman whose husband was cured of prostate cancer, but later took his life because he couldn’t cope with his loss of erectile functioning after prostate surgery.

So my wife and I co-authored a second book:
“Every You Never Wanted to Know Erectile Dysfunction & Pe**le Implants” because far too few men know about the life changing surgery of a pe**le implant.

After the book was published, I created a page as well. It wasn’t long before Facebook closed the page down for “violating community standards” because they considered a pe**le implant a s*x toy!

I appealed this decision arguing that an implant was a medical device that treated a bona fide medical disease called erectile dysfunction.

I won the appeal. Now every day of every year, for many years folks ask to join this CLOSED group.
