Happy World Alzheimerās Day! š
Weāre taking it back to this special moment at the Georgia State Capitol, where the Georgia Council on Aging joined Governor Brian Kemp, the Georgia Department of Human Services, the Alzheimer's Association and other partners to raise awareness and recognize the importance of brain health across Georgia.
Today and every day, GCOA stands with individuals living with Alzheimerās and other dementias, their families, caregivers and the organizations working to support them worldwide.
World Alzheimerās Month is led by Alzheimer's Disease International and brings communities together to challenge stigma, increase understanding and encourage important conversations about dementia.
Together, we can continue building a stronger, more informed and dementia-friendly Georgia.
