Rivers-Famous 🌎 International Dinner 🌎 Was a HUGE Hit!

We think we set a new record for both participation and the amazing variety of dishes! 🍽️❤️

A BIG thank-you to all the families who brought and shared their delicious food and cultural traditions with our Rivers community. And a huge shout-out to all our wonderful volunteers, including the NAHS crew, for helping make this event such a success! 🦁🙌

📸 Have more photos from the event? We’d especially love to see pictures of the drumming and dancing performances! Please email them to [email protected].

Thank you for making our Rivers community so vibrant, diverse, and connected! 🌍💛💙

🦁 Happy Georgia Pre-K Week! 🦁

Our Pre-K Lions had a wonderful time celebrating Georgia Pre-K Week with some very special visitors! ❤️

A big thank-you to Ms. Jen McDonald from the APS Board and proud former Rivers parent, Ms. Ruby Norman from the APS Pre-K Office, and Ms. Simmons for sharing their time and stories with our little Lions.

Every book brought excitement, and every story created a special moment! We loved seeing our Pre-K Lions light up with every page. 📖✨

Thank you for making reading so much fun at Rivers! 💙💛

Today, E. Rivers gathered to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with an unforgettable assembly 💙💛

The event was a fantastic showcase of our diverse community, highlighted by a breathtaking Parade of Nations and incredible student performances.

We extend a huge round of applause to Coach Thibou, Coach Chartier, Ms. Weingart, and all of our dedicated students for the months of hard work that went into practicing and executing the phenomenal "Dai-Dai" performance. 🌟

We would also like to give a special thanks to HHM Committee - Ms. Greeson, Prof. Ortiz, and Prof. Silvestrini for bringing our school together and organizing such impactful HHM activities to "unite" our community. Thank you to everyone who made today's celebration possible!

👕 Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month! 🌎

Our Lions got creative with our Hispanic Heritage Month Jersey Project, designing jerseys inspired by their assigned countries! 🎨

From flag colors and symbols to country names and slogans, each jersey is a unique celebration of culture and heritage. ❤️🌎

We can’t wait to see them displayed at our 🌎 International Dinner 🌎 this Thursday ! ✨
