Congratulations to Captain Monique Allwood for making history as the FIRST female Fire Captain in Orange NJ.

Let's congratulate New York City Fire Department (FDNY) Deputy Chief Tonya Boyd on becoming the first black woman to be promoted to the deputy chief rank in the department.

Chief Boyd recently made history by becoming the highest-ranked black woman in the department.

We weren't there, but we're told that City of Atlanta Government Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms was escorted by these lovely City of Atlanta Police Department as she walked in to deliver her "State of the City" speech last week. And....she walked in listening to Beyonce's "Girls Run the World" song....

Let's welcome FEMA's newest Emergency Management Specialist in Recovery and Applicant Services...Ms Grace McCraney.

Let us not forget our fallen sisters who dedicated their lives to this industry.
